VIENNA, WV (April 11, 2007)- Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team will be busy racing at several events over the next week. Steve and the team will travel to Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio on Friday April 13 for a 50-lap $5,000 to win event sanctioned by the new Independent Racing Series (IRS). From there Steve will head to Florence Speedway in Florence, Kentucky on Saturday April 14th for a 50-lap $5000 to win feature event sanctioned by the O’Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Series. Depending on how things go at these events Steve will travel to Challenger Raceway in Homer City, PA on Sunday for an unsanctioned 50-lap $5000 to win feature event.

After a busy weekend of racing Steve and the Cosgrove Racing team will travel to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA on Tuesday April 17th for a World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned event. The 50-lap feature event will pay $10,000 to the winner. From there the team will head south to 311 Speedway in Madison, NC on Wednesday night April 18th and compete in twin 35-lap feature events with each feature paying the winner $5,000. After the Wednesday night events Steve and the team will head to Concord, NC to compete in the Colossal 100 at the Lowes Dirt Track on Friday and Saturday April 20-21st. The Colossal 100 sanctioned by the World of Outlaw Late Model Series will pay $50,000 to the winner of the 100-lap feature event.

“We plan to race a bunch over the next week or so. We’ve got our cars prepared and were ready to go racing. Hopefully we can get some wins over the next week and maybe get that $50,000 at Lowes next weekend to top off a good week of racing for our team”, stated Steve from his race shop.
