VIENNA, WV (March 21, 2007)- Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team have decided not to attend the World of Outlaw Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events in LA, MS and AL this weekend. Steve and the team will use the additional weekend off from racing to better prepare for the Indiana Ice Breaker at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown Indiana on Saturday March 31st. The March 31st event will be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The 10th annual event will pay the winner $10,000.

Steve and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing, Ludicrous Energy Drink team enjoyed several good finishes during the 2007 Florida Speedweeks including a big win at East Bay Raceway on Friday February 9th that paid $10,000 to win. The victory came during the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events in Tampa Florida as Steve captured the 50-lap feature event in front of packed house at the famous raceway in Tampa.
